Sports Events: Charity Runs or Walks
This is a very popular event which takes place all over the world. Some
advantages are:
- An incentive to lose weight and get in shape.
- Possible travel.
- Meeting and working with new people to achieve a common goal.
There are two basic kinds of run/walk programs:
1. Endurance events such as marathons, half marathons, and triathalons.
2. Short distance events such as 5K races, 5K walks, Walk-a-thons and
fun runs.
